1. Pop cleaned up a spare bedroom to make me a homeoffice. He found me a wooden box filled with photographs. It brought back some past memories. Not the photographs but the "smell from the woodenbox". I’ve got this box when I started dating Pop a while while while back. It brought back memory of me when I lived by myself and getting to know Pop.
2. I listened to an old FFX soundtrack and it reminded me of the time when Pop and I had so much fun playing this game on the couch at the old house together all winter long.

Scent from perfume/cologne such ETERNITY and FARENHIGHT reminds me of the time I lived in Japan while DRAKKAR reminds me of my teen while I was in Thailand.
Norah Jone’s song reminds me of the time I was working for the US Navy because I listened the song everyday at work.
วันนี้ทำงานอยู่กับบ้าน ขี้เกียจตื่นเช้า
ป็อปเก็บกวาดห้องนอนที่ใช้เป็นห้องเก็บของให้ฉันทำเป็นออฟฟิส ระหว่างที่เก็บของอยู่ เขาเอากล่องไม้ซึ่งเต็มไปด้วยรูปเก่า ๆ มาให้ รูปภาพเก่า ๆ ไม่ได้ดึงความทรงจำเก่า ๆ ในหัวสมองของฉันออกมาได้ดีเท่ากับกลิ่นของกล่องไม้กล่องนี้ ฉันหวนนึกถึงเหตุการณ์ สถานที่ และเรื่องราวต่าง ๆ ในอดีต เพราะสมองได้รับกลิ่นคุ้นเคยจากล่องไม้กล่องนี้
ทำงานไปฟังเพลงไป ความทรงจำเก่า ๆ แว้ปผ่านเข้ามาในหัวสมองอีกหนึ่งรอบ คราวนี้ไม่ใช่จากกลิ่น แต่จากเพลงที่คุ้นเคย เพลงที่เคยได้ยินบ่อย ๆ จนคุ้นหูในช่วงเวลาหนึ่ง เพลงนั้นคือเพลงประกอบเกมส์ ไฟนอลแฟนตาซี ภาค 10 ที่ฉันกับป็อปตะบี้ตะบันเล่นกันตลอดหน้าหนาวหลายปีผ่านมา วันนี้พอได้ยินเพลงนี้ รู้สึกเหมือนกับว่าเพิ่งจะเล่นเกมส์นี้ไปเมื่อวาน
กลิ่นและเสียงเพลงอื่น ๆ ที่กระชากความทรงจำที่ดีของฉันได้ก็ยังมีอีกมาก ยกตัวอย่างอีกสักหน่อย ก็มี…
กลิ่นน้ำหอมต่าง ๆ เช่น อิเธอนี้ที (Eternity) ฟาเรนไฮต์ (Farenheight) และ แดรกคูร่า เอ๊ย … แดรกก้า (Drakkar) แต่ละกลิ่น ก็ทำให้ฉันหวนคิดถึงสถานที่ ชีวิต เรื่องราว และผู้คนที่แต่งต่างกันออกไป
เพลงของนักร้องสาว นอร่า โจนส์ ก็ทำให้ฉันคิดถึงครั้งเพิ่งเข้าทำงานกับกรมทหารเรือใหม่ ๆ เพราะช่วงที่ทำงานที่นั่น ฉันจะเปิดเพลง ๆ นี้ฟังทุก ๆ วัน มันกำลังฮิต :) ตอนนี้พอได้ยินเพลงนี้ ก็จะคิดถึงช่วงเวลานั้นขึ้นมาทันที

i think smells and sounds trigger memories faster than pictures. it’s just the way our brain works. are you working at home bc you’re ill or bc of the snow or just bc??? and you can be on my team any time! we’ll kick butt and conquer the world! all while gluing pink hearts to red boxes!
hey….i saw that “fashion-chick” picture in that wooden box !!! you posed like a teen star !! with that hip bang !!!! and long long hair !!!! OMG. your were so hip !!!! (you still are…LOL)….Were you my age in that picture ??????? OMG. you look so young !!! ….. i usually have old pictures in old shoe box…LOL !!!! how ghetto am i ????
btw. i had that job interview today. it was at Enterprise (Rent-a-Car) for Accounting Internship position. I think I did good (except there was a time I think I talked too much and I went off the topic
…and then i lost track of what the question was ). But I was so nervous !! Now I’m even more nervous b/c he said (btw..the guy who interviewed me was so hot too ) that he’ll contact me. Is that mean I’m not getting that job? I’ve heard that when these people said “I’ll contact you” that means they don’t want you. I’m scared. but the thing is…he told me that they never had an accounting intern before, they had nothing set up, so he had to consult with other accounting supervisor and deciding about the setup and hours an accounting intern will be working.
is that mean…im getting a job but they just don’t have the setup for me yet? or I’m not getting a job? I’m scared !!!!

มีความสุขดีเนอะเวลานึกถึงความทรงจำดีๆเก่าๆ
วันก่อนจัดการไฟล์เก่าๆสมัยเรียน ก็รู้สึกย้อนอดีตไปเหมือนกัน
ว่าแต่ช่วงเจอเพนกวินๆแรกๆ ก็ฟัง Final Fantasy เหมือนกันเลย แถมแกชอบฉีด Eternity อีกต่างหาก
รูปในกล่องเก๋จัง มีกล่องไม้ด้วย เรามีแต่กล่องช๊อคโกแล๊ตที่เป็นสังกะสีอ่ะ
เค้าถึงบอกกันว่า
เพลงไม่ได้มีแต่บันทึกเพียงแค่เสียงร้องและทำนองเท่านั้น
หากแต่มันยังบันทึกเรื่องราวและความทรงจำของเราด้วย
