It’s been 4 days since listed and there’s NO inquiry on our home sale. NOBODY! NONE! NADA! ZIP! That’s redicurous. 2 weeks ago, our neighbor sold their home in 3 days. We’re in a HOT SPOT! Ours should be sold like a hot cake too! But why … ? why not?
Obstacle No. 1 - BAD AGENT (SAMSON REALTY):
Our home is listed without a preview photo of the house (Thumbnail on Search). Yeah, there’s a virtual tour but how many people will notice that little virtual tour link? And if the thumbnail doesn’t show up on SEARCH, nobody would bother clicking through. You know … It’s like trying to sell something on EBAY without a PHOTO. People will search and click for an ad with PHOTO first.
That’s our AGENT’s fault. He didn’t upload the photo and now he’s on a beach (since last week). Eventhough Pop expressed his concern, Bobby simply explained that he’s can’t find INTERNET ACCESS on THE BEACH…BOO!
And we’re paying this guy 4.5% (or so) commission fee?
Note: When my photo didn’t show up on eBay (I was selling Pop’s artwork), I went online to chat with tech support and got the issue resolved in 20 minutes! Maybe I should SELL MY HOUSE ON EBAY!
Obstacle No. 2 - BAD WEATHER:
It’s been either EXTREMELY HOT (Heat Advisory + Air Quality Warning) since the beginning of the week. It’s so fudging hot people are warned not to be outside with heat. (Or they’re turned into fried chickens) When it’s NOT HOT, guess what happened … IT’S RAIN! YEAH…either HIGH HEAT or HEAVY RAIN … that’s the weather this week in Virginia.
I understand if people will stop house hutning for a few days and stay chill in their comfortable spot where it’s nice and cool and … dry!

So obvious that house buyers will skip your house since all other houses I saw are on the same area and same price as you. Other house can fit their need as same as you.
But quite a good idea ka, sell it on Ebay.. haha
jai yen yen na ka, it’ll be cooler next week,.
Hopefully it won’t take too long before someone will come and buy your house *I have my fingers crossed for you*
tell your realtor to go to starbucks and use their internet asap or have someone in his office do it!!!!!
