1st week mark

Yaay! I survived the first week at my new job. It's definitely HARD and A BIG CHANGE. From being a consultant working from home to an intern with a government driving from state to state daily, it's quite a change!

New office is good. People are nice. Boss are pretty easy going and very busy. Commute sucks so much but I think I can manage my schedule to make make it a bit better.

I worked 8, 9, 9, 9, 9 the first week so I can take next Friday off! I walked A LOT (checking in) and didn't eat much; hence, dropping 6 lbs! Shocking.

I'm getting better with my meal arrangement though. I store food in the fridge at work, power bars in the cabinet, and tons of snacks on my desk LOL :)

I read this and previous entries, sounds like lots of time spent in the car! And the $5 toll EACH way? No way! How much money does the government need? Lol. Make sure to have good CDs, food, pillows, and blankets to make you a little comfortable and enjoyable (just don’t bring the good pillows though otherwise you’ll go right down to sleep!) I don’t know how you can do it with that commute, I’m exhausted with 2 short-subway stops (or a 15 min walk…depending on how lazy I get)! Lol.
